On December 28, Vitaly Koltochnik - Secretary, Member of the Board of RCA visited the creative evening of the Eurasian Creative Guild at the invitation of its Founder and Vice-Chairman Marat Akhmedzhanov.
The Guild was created for mutual assistance and camaraderie of its members in supporting their creativity around the world. The Guild has consolidated creative people of all forms of art and has become a global platform for cultural networking. Like the Rotary Club, the Guild does not give authors real money for promotion: its task is to be a "sandbox" for finding like-minded people, exchanging knowledge and experience, serving as a window to the big world and helping to overcome parochialism.
Payment of a symbolic contribution opens a serious access to the development of one's creativity at the international level
The Guild regularly holds large-scale festivals in the film industry (ECG Film Festival), theatrical art (Weeks of Culture in world capitals) and literature (Art Week in London), numerous competitions (artwork, fashion, etc.), international internships for art figures.
The transcontinental scope of this platform is impressive. The guild, operating in more than 70 countries for 8 years of its work, territorially stepped over the Eurasian borders, covering Australia and Canada.
Most of all in the Guild it is Kazakhstanis - over 200. The creative class is represented very widely – poets, writers, critics, artists, journalists, literary agents, artists, theatergoers. The Guild actively encourages chamber genres for Kazakhstan – for example, the development of fantastic literature or horror (including in the state language).
The founder of the Guild announced plans for the next year, shared the achievements of the 8th anniversary of his brainchild, presented memorable awards and titles, received new ECG members (by the way, this is a citizen of Kazakhstan, editor of a well-known publication), presented new books by his authors.
The Guild and Rotary Club of Almaty are united by the long-term friendship of Marat Akhmedzhanov and the current chairman of ECG Gareth Stamp with our Club. We thank ECG for assistance in the information promotion of the RCA – Almaty Fountains project in the European media segment. The Eurasianism of the Guild and the universality of Rotary open up limitless opportunities for interaction in the cultural field.
Negotiations were also held with the Kazakh curator of the Guild - a member of the Advisory Council and chairman of the Expert Council on Business Coaching - Elena Bezrukova (graphelist, writer, author of books, business coach, founder of the author's Center of the same name), awarded in the literary nomination "Small Prose".
In continuation of the agreements of the President of the RCA Altynai Beisembiev and the Chairman of the Gareth Stamp Guild, further prospects for cooperation between the RCA and the Guild were discussed, taking into account the general directions of Rotary in the cultural field.
Service is above oneself. Stay tuned!
