On September 29 of this year, a meeting was held between the team of the Rotary Club of Almaty (Altynai Beisembieva, Vitaly Koltochnik, Natalia Drobysheva, Zhangir Tuyakov) with the leadership of the Almaty Youth Policy Department represented by the head Kairzhan Mendigaliev and his deputy Olzhas Korganbek.
Issues of cooperation between the Akimat of Almaty and RCA in the development of volunteering, promotion of the culture of patronage and charity among the younger generation, the revival of the youth wing of the Rotary Club of Almaty and the creation of a regional Rotary Youth Center were discussed.
RCA President Altynai Beisembieva acquainted the UMP management in detail with the activities of Rotary International and youth rotaract clubs in the world and in our city, Rotary scholarship programs in support of talented young people to study at elite universities with a worldwide reputation.
A number of interim agreements on partnership in the youth policy of Almaty have been reached, taking into account the international capabilities of the Rotary system and the resources of the authorized body for youth affairs.
