One of the most important priorities in supporting children's health care for our Club is to help children with epilepsy.
We have been leading this project in 6 regions for more than 6 years, supporting the Ken Zhurek Foundation and the Rotary project of the same name. It is the first non-profit organization to raise and promote epilepsy issues in the KZ and a key partner of the RCA. Rotary's sponsorship of low-income children pays for expensive drug monitoring and EEG procedures.
At the end of the outgoing 2021, the Rotary Club of Almaty encouraged ken Zhurek's young volunteers for their invaluable assistance in making gifts for the children under the Care of the Foundation.
As a sign of gratitude, the young assistants of Ken Zhurek received letters of thanks and various goodies - gingerbread and buns. Also, RCA with the assistance of Zarina Kan (Founder of Omega esthetique clinic and SPA Almaty clinic) - a great friend of Rotary, children from Ken Zhurek were presented with valuable gifts to the Christmas tree - children's accessories in the form of backpacks, handbags, wallets in addition to the mass of gifts presented by other sponsors of "KEN ZHUREK".
Special thanks to our dear Zarina, who is a true Rotarian in spirit and for a long time provides sponsorship support for our undertakings, helping with prizes, gifts, personal attention and care.
