End the old year with a...

On December 27, the whole team of The Rotary Club of Almaty organized a New Year's Tree for pupils of the country's largest orphanage Zhanuya for 94 orphans from 5 to 18 years old.

The Christmas tree was accompanied by a traditional musical program, the presentation of valuable gifts to each child and communication with the wonderful team of the orphanage - its pupils, educators and leaders.

 

We were touched by the warm and cozy atmosphere of the orphanage, the very caring and reverent attitude of the staff to their work.

The Christmas tree was held entirely on sponsorship funds raised during the transit dinner and charity lottery on December 9, as well as money transferred by volunteers specifically for the New Year's holiday. Thank you so much.

 

The greatest joy was brought to us by sincere smiles and incendiary laughter, sincere gratitude of children with a difficult fate, who saw us as their friends.

I was especially struck to the depths of my soul by the words of the baby: "On New Year's Day, mom and dad will come to me." I'll never forget that moment.

We are proud and glad that the Club makes a constant contribution to improving the lives of people who really need it.

 

And next year we will continue even more actively, taking into account new members who are constantly joining the Rotary Club of Almaty, which leads to its quantitative and qualitative growth.
